Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2024
(VOVWORLD) -28-year-old Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen from Nam Dinh stood out of 28 other girls at a glittering pageant and won the coveted Miss Universe Vietnam crown 2024.

With her title, she earned the right to represent Vietnam at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant which will be held in Mexico City this November.
At the beauty contest finale held on Sunday evening in Ho Chi Minh City, contestants and audiences observed a minute of silence commemorating storm and flood victims in the North and officers and soldiers who died while on relief missions.
The new beauty queen will be the one to carry out the "million dollar mission", which is to build 10 new schools across Vietnam.
The first and second runners-up were Nguyen Quynh Anh from Hanoi and Vu Thuy Quynh from Dien Bien, respectively.
