(VOVWORLD) - North Korea has notified Japan that it plans to launch a satellite into space at some point between November 23 and December 1, and that the trajectory of the rocket will take it in the direction of the Yellow Sea and the East China Sea.

The South Korean army on Monday demanded that North Korea immediately stop preparations to put a spy satellite into orbit.
Pyongyang first tried to put a spy satellite into orbit in May, and repeated the attempt in August, but both attempts failed. It then announced it would try again in October, but did not meet that deadline.
