(VOVworld) – A ceremony took place in Hanoi on Monday to honor students, who won medals at International Olympiads and recorded excellent performance in this year’s university entrance exams.
50 students were awarded, 11 of them won gold Olympiad medals.

Nguyen Thien Nhan, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, urged the community to pay greater attention to the national education and training and create better conditions for students to learn:“All the achievements are highly appreciated but you should keep trying harder to become more outstanding depending on your capability. You should self equip with updated knowledge and skills to pursue your passion and meet the country’s requirements during the development and international integration period. In the future, you will possibly become talented scientists, economists, technicians, and young leaders who will make practical contributions to the national development in 30 or 50 years.”
