(VOVworld)- The government web portal, the Vietnam Television Center in Da Nang and Quang Ngai Radio and TV Station today/Sunday held an online dialogue on investment and development of Dung Quat economic zone.

Delegates to the one-hour dialogue highlighted the zone’s important role in the regional socio economic development. Since it was established 16 years ago, the Economic Zone has attracted 115 investment projects with a total registered capital of 8.3 trillion USD. They include 15 foreign investment project valuing at 5.7 billion USD. Dung Quat economic zone is calling investment from other East Asian and Southeast Asian countries through many investment incentives. "Investors into Dung Quat Economic Zone are required to submit their Environment Assessment Report. They also have to meet all necessary criteria set at the zone. Supervision is also conducted during the operation of investors’ factories", said Pham Nhu So, Vice Chairman of Quang Ngai Province’s People’s Committee and Director of the Management Board of Dung Quat Economic Zone. .
