(VOVworld) - Overseas Vietnamese have raised their recommendations to improve Vietnam’s competitiveness in the global economy.

During a workshop jointly held by the State Committee on Overseas Vietnamese Affairs and the Party Central Committee’s Economic Commission in Hanoi on Sunday, delegates discussed economic restructuring, growth models, governance capacity, banking and agricultural reform.
Addressing the event, Head of the Economic Commission, Vuong Dinh Hue, hailed human resources and population structure as major competitive edge in integration: “I expect participants to review economic trend nationally and globally as well as their impacts on competitiveness, economic restructuring and state owned enterprises.”
