Pakistan election: Imran Khan makes promises after victory
(VOVWORLD) -Pakistan’s politician Imran Khan said India and Pakistan should resolve their dispute over the divided Kashmir region through talks, as he declared victory on Thursday in Pakistan’s general election.

Khan called for mutually beneficial ties with the US and expressed support for peace in neighboring Afghanistan. Khan said his PTI party will lead Pakistan in a new direction. He offered to investigate all the allegations of election rigging and said he wants to “unite” the country under his leadership.
