(VOVworld) – Secretary General of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Saeb Erekat on Tuesday condemned the visit of Israeli President Reuven Rivlin to Jewish settlements in the West Bank. Rivlin visited the Benjamin Regional Council of Settlements on Monday. Over 500,000 Jewish settlers live in 230 illegal settlements built in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem since Israel’s war with the Palestinians in 1967, according to United Nations figures.
