Incoming chief of staff Susie Wiles said in a statement on Tuesday that the move allows Cabinet nominees to begin critical preparations, including the deployment of landing teams to every department and agency.
Authorized members of the Trump transition team will work directly with federal agencies and access non-public information.
Earlier, the transition team of Mr. Trump, who will take office on January 20, 2025, refused to sign the MoU and rejected several parts of the customary Presidential transition process.
