President: Vietnam supports Palestine’s just struggle for independence and freedom

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam strongly supports the peaceful settlement of the Israel-Palestine conflict in line with international law and relevant UN resolutions, said Vietnamese President Luong Cuong in a message to the UN Secretary-General and the President of the UN General Assembly at a celebration of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People on November 29.

President Cuong emphasized the importance of safeguarding the legitimate interests of all parties involved, particularly the inalienable national rights of the Palestinian people, including their right to establish an independent, sovereign Palestinian state, living peacefully and securely alongside the Israeli state.
He said the State and people of Vietnam strongly support the just struggle for the independence and freedom of the Palestinian people and are ready to participate in international efforts to promote dialogue, reconciliation, and humanitarian assistance to those affected by the conflict, contributing to ensuring peace, security, and stability in the region and globally.
