Party and State leaders deliver Tet gifts to local communities
(VOVWORLD) - Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan visited and presented Tet gifts to policy families, underprivileged workers, and disadvantaged children in Gia Lai province on Tuesday.

She also visited Vietnamese Heroic Mother Le Thi Tho and war invalid Dinh Blenh in Pleiku City.
During the visit, 500 gifts worth 500 million VND were distributed to the poor. The Vietnam Children’s Fund provided 200 million VND for children in need. The Gia Lai People’s Committee presented 330 gifts to workers, policy families, and children in the province.
Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan said: "The importance of economic development is to improve the material and spiritual well-being of the people. Only with economic development and strength, can we have resources to improve people’s life and strengthen national defense, and border security. This is a responsibility of the Central Highlands provinces and Gia Lai province in particular."
On the occasion, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh led a delegation to Binh Thuan province to deliver gifts to policy families and disadvantaged households.
On the same day, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong visited Kon Tum province, presenting New Year gifts to poor households and policy families.
