Party leader emphasizes Vietnam's resolve to bolster special friendship with Cuba
(VOVWORLD) -Party General Secretary To Lam emphasized Vietnam's resolve to bolster the special friendship, traditional solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation with Cuba during a reception for visiting President of the Cuban National Assembly Esteban Lazo Hernández in Hanoi on Wednesday.

The General Secretary suggested that the two sides coordinate to increase the exchange of theories and practical experiences, especially in the context of Vietnam organizing the 14th National Party Congress and Cuba organizing the 9th National Party Congress in 2026.
The National Assembly President thanked Vietnam for its assistance for Cuba during the current difficult period and applauded Vietnam's support and cooperation in improving agricultural production capacity towards ensuring food security for Cuba.
The Cuban Party, State and National Assembly pay attention to and create favorable conditions for Vietnamese enterprises to do business and invest in Cuba, he said and expressed his belief that it would attract more Vietnamese enterprises there.
Earlier, National Assembly President Esteban Lazo Hernández laid a wreath and visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum as well as laid a wreath at the Monument to Heroes and Martyrs on Bac Son Street in Hanoi.
