Mr. Trong was speaking at a working session with the General Department of Politics in Hanoi on Tuesday to review the implementation of Party and political activities in the army since the 11^th National Party Congress last year. Mr. Trong said: "In addition to party building work, the army is required to focus on its human resources and organization. Consistency and staunchness serve as an iron fortress to protect the regime and the Fatherland. The army must be faithful to the Party while trying to fight any wrong doings and moral degradation."
