Party leader's wife and UNESCO chief attend exhibition on gender equality
(VOVWORLD) -Party General Secretary To Lam's wife Ngo Phuong Ly and Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Audrey Azoulay attended the "We CAN" painting exhibition on Friday at the Vietnam Women's Museum in Hanoi during Ms. Azoulay's official visit to Vietnam.

The exhibition organized by the UNESCO Office in Hanoi features nearly 30 works by students from Cao Bang, Ninh Thuan and Vinh Long. They are part of the project "We CAN", a joint initiative between UNESCO and the Ministry of Education and Training, aiming to empower ethnic minority women and girls in disadvantaged areas to learn and develop comprehensively.
At the exhibition, Ms. Azoulay acknowledged Vietnam’s substantial commitment to UNESCO’s goals, especially in inclusive education and sustainable development. She and Ms. Ly shared the view that education is a key tool to promote gender equality, guiding long-term cooperation between Vietnam and UNESCO.
