People entering HCM city to work 14 days or more are subject to 6-day quarantine
(VOVWORLD) -People who enter Ho Chi Minh city to work for 14 days or more must undergo a 6-day quarantine period at hotels or other venues permitted by the city, according to a new document issued by the city’s Center for Disease Control.
In case a foreigner enters Vietnam to work for a short period of time, it is necessary to undergo quarantine but be allowed to travel in accordance with the declared schedule. First test takes place right after their arrival at a quarantine facility, the second test will be taken during their stay in Vietnam, one day before leaving Vietnam. Samples are taken as soon as symptoms emerge.
For those who finish a concentrated quarantine period with a negative test result done before the end of quarantine, afterwards he or she must self-monitor their health condition for 14 days. COVID-19 patients after discharge must continue quarantine for 14 days and will be tested twice on the 7th and 14th day after discharge.
Vietnam reported no new cases of COVID-19 on Monday morning, going through 26 consecutive days without community infections, according to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control. Currently, Vietnam has a total of 1,074 COVID-19 patients. The Treatment Sub-Committee reported that Vietnam has cured 999 patients, 35 patients died.
