Pilgrims flock to Lim festival in Bac Ninh province

(VOVworld) – Thousands of pilgrims headed to Lim Festival in Bac Ninh province on Wednesday (13^th of lunar January), the main festive day, to enjoy the singing of traditional love duets (Quan Ho folk songs).

Male and female singers from traditional Quan Ho villages and the Bac Ninh Art and Culture College performed in 5 singing tents and a main stage set up on Lim hill.

Festival goers were also served in front of the communal houses and pagodas, on boats, and at the homes of 8 artists in Lim town. Along with Quan Ho singing, swinging, wrestling, blind-man’s buff, clay pot breaking, and human chess were must-have activities during the festive days.
