In particular, the Prime Minister requested urgent measures, reviewing deeply flooded areas, areas at risk of landslides and flash floods to evacuate residents, especially the elderly, children, and vulnerable groups, from dangerous areas, ensuring people's safety above all.

PM Chinh decided to provide emergency aid of 5.3 million USD from the central budget reserve in 2025 to Thai Nguyen, Cao Bang, Lang Son and Bac Ninh provinces to overcome the flood aftermaths. Thai Nguyen has reported at least 4 deaths, 2 missing, and 2 injured people.

Duong Huu Buong, Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Thai Nguyen province, elaborated on maintaining information flow for rescue work. “The Department has directed telecom units to ensure the communication system uninterrupted all over the province. In case of power outage, the generator will be operated. Telecom units must stay close to communes and wards, especially in remote areas, so that any interruptions can be promptly resolved. There are places where storms cannot be proactively responded to in time, but efforts will be made to fix any disruptions or damage to transmission towers.”

In the face of heavy rain and floods that have isolated many communes in Lang Son province on Wednesday morning, the Army conducted airdrop of emergency relief supplies to the affected people.
