(VOVworld)- Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung will lead a Vietnamese delegation to the 9th Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) to be held in Vientiane capital from November 4-6. Themed “Friends for Peace, Partners for Prosperity”, the meeting will examine economic and financial situation, global challenges, regional issues, and ASEM cooperation. The Vietnamese delegation will take part in various activities of the Summit to make a practical contribution to strengthening Asia – Europe cooperation, especially in areas of common concern, in order to speed up economic recovery, address global challenges, and maintain peace, security, stability, cooperation and development of the two regions.
