Speaking at the event at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism in Hanoi, Prime Minister Chinh called for the preservation and promotion of ethnic cultural values as a regular, long-term task and a responsibility shared across the entire political system. He emphasized the need to strengthen communication and education on the value of great national unity among younger generations, and to integrate cultural heritage into the education system and community activities so that young people better understand and take pride in national identity, especially at a time when people in central Vietnam are suffering heavy losses caused by flooding.

“Today, we stand united, with one heart, toward central Vietnam. It is during difficult times that the spirit of great national unity and comradeship truly shines. I call on everyone to join hands, share hardships, and stand in solidarity with our compatriots in central Vietnam during this challenging period. I believe that with the strength of great national unity and the foundation of ‘the people creating history,’ we will overcome difficulties together and build a strong, civilized, and prosperous Vietnam,” said PM Chinh.

At the ceremony, organizations and businesses donated 21 million USD to support people affected by flooding in the central and Central Highlands regions.
