PM visits armed forces ahead of Tet
(VOVWORLD) - The armed forces, including the People's Public Security force, have contributed significantly to Vietnam’s recent achievements, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said during a visit to the Department of Investigation Security in Hanoi on Monday ahead of the Lunar New Year Festival (Tet).

As 2025 will be filled with significant national events, the agency must closely monitor the situation, respond swiftly and effectively to any risks, be ready to prevent challenges early and from afar, and strengthen international collaboration to address complex global developments, the PM said.
The same day, Mr. Chinh visited and extended New Year greetings to the Department of Internal Political Security and the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order under the Ministry of Public Security.
During his visit to Brigade K3 under the Ministry of Defense’s General Department II, PM Chinh praised the brigade's nearly three decades of service as an elite force in military intelligence.
He expressed his confidence that the officers, staff and soldiers of Brigade K3 will continue to overcome challenges and excel in fulfilling their assigned missions under any circumstances, ensuring that military intelligence remains a vital, absolutely loyal, and trustworthy force of the Party, State, army and people.
