Poland shopping center fire: Letter of condolences sent to Vietnamese sufferers

(VOVWORLD) -The fire at 44 Marywilska Shopping Center, Warsaw, Poland, on Sunday has caused severe damage to property and seriously affected the business and life of the Vietnamese community in Poland.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Thi Thu Hang, who is also Chairwoman of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese, on Monday sent a letter of condolences to Vietnamese traders. In the letter, the Deputy FM sent warm regards, sympathy and deep condolences to the affected families for the losses they suffered due to the unexpected disaster.

She expressed her wish and belief that at this difficult time, Vietnamese people, Vietnamese businesses and organizations in Poland and in the world in general will promote the spirit of solidarity and mutual support, join forces to share difficulties, and promptly find solutions to help sufferers quickly stabilize their lives and rebuild their businesses.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has directed the Vietnamese Embassy in Poland to promptly discuss with relevant local agencies on protecting the legal and legitimate rights of Vietnamese people there. The Vietnamese Embassy in Poland was urged to urgently support with the necessary documents so that victims could soon stabilize their lives and businesses.
