President pays pre-Tet visit to Kien Giang province
(VOVWORLD) - State President Luong Cuong on Tuesday visited and extended New Year greetings to authorities and people of the southern province of Kien Giang ahead of the traditional Lunar New Year Festival (Tet).

The President emphasized the strategic position of Kien Giang in terms of economics, politics, foreign affairs, defense, and security.
He said the province’s Phu Quoc Island must become a true paradise for tourism and relaxation under a master plan until 2040.
President Cuong urged thorough preparations for the 2027 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum to be held in Phu Quoc.
