President Putin welcomes PM Modi at his residence

(VOVWORLD) -Russian President Vladimir Putin welcomed Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his official residence at Novo-Ogaryovo, just outside Moscow, Monday night ahead of official talks in the Kremlin on Tuesday.
The two leaders reviewed the multifaceted relationship between the two countries and exchanged views on regional and global issues of mutual concern.
They discussed bilateral relations, focusing on defense cooperation, investment, education, culture, and payment issues caused by Western sanctions.
Modi arrived in Moscow on Monday to begin a two-day visit to Russia. He expressed confidence that his talks with President Putin on Tuesday will further strengthen the friendship between the two countries.
