(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang has praised the efforts and achievements made by the Ho Chi Minh National Academy for Politics and Public Administration (HCMA). Attending a ceremony at the academy on Monday to mark Vietnam Teachers’ Day (November 20^th), President Sang said the academy plays an important role in training key officials of the nation in the new period. He asked the academy to work harder to improve the quality of education and training and to fight moral degradation among cadres and party members: “The foremost task is to improve the quality of education and training. Learners should follow the party guidelines, enhance their political will, apply theory into reality, and lead healthy lifestyles.” 

On this occasion, the President conferred the Labour Order and Excellent Teacher title to collectives and individuals at the academy.
