President Trump optimistic about North Korea talks

Trump praised a possible future agreement with the North as "very good" for the international community as a whole.

Hillary Clinton, Trump's rival in the 2016 presidential elections didn’t believe in the success of the upcoming talks as experienced diplomats on the North Korean issue were in short supply. Former US ambassador to the United Nations Bill Richardson said it's a real opportunity and worried about the president's unpreparedness and lack of discipline, but commended him for his very bold move in accepting the invitation.
