President’s Office announces two ordinances
(VOVworld) – The President’s Office has announced an ordinance on Mobile Police and another on Procedures on applying administrative measures at the People’s Court.

The Ordinance on the Mobile Police was adopted by the 13
th National Assembly Standing Committee last December and will come into effect on July 1, 2014. It defines the role, functions, jurisdiction, and principles for the performance and organization of the mobile police force, the responsibility of the Mobile Police Commander and Director of provincial and city police forces.
The Ordinance on Procedures on applying administrative measures at People’s Court was adopted by the National Assembly Standing Committee which came into effect on January 20, 2014. The ordinance clarifies Vietnam’s guidelines and policies on legislative, judicial, and administrative reform and ensuring human rights as well as the rights of citizens.
