(VOVworld) – Journalist Le Cong of "Light and Life" magazine was given the highest award for 3 articles on energy efficient lighting in local and remote areas, and in the country.

20 other entries for the 2013 press award on “Energy efficient lighting – Say no to incandescent bulbs to protect the environment” were praised at the award ceremony held in Hanoi Wednesday. The award was given to professional and amateur journalists in order to raise social awareness regarding energy saving. Since being launched 3 months ago nationwide, more than 100 works were sent to the organisers, including those from Vietnam’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Light and Life magazine, and the Vietnam Journalists Association.
