Prime Minister congratulates U22 and women’s football teams
(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on Thursday congratulated the success of the U22 men’s football team and women’s football team at the SEA Games 30.

Mr. Phuc praised the U22 team’s spirit in coming back against Thailand after conceding 2 early goals in their last group match. The team secured their top position in the standings and will play Cambodia in the semifinal on Saturday.
The Vietnam women’s football team defeated host Philippines in a semifinal match, earning a ticket to the final on Sunday against Thailand.
Prime Minister Phuc said he hopes both teams will maintain their concentration and determination to triumph.
By 4 pm on Friday, Vietnam stood 2nd in the SEA Games 30 medal tally with 112 medals, including 36 gold.
