The same day, Prime Minister Phuc met with US businesses, led by William Weidner, Chairman and CEO of Global Gaming Asset Management and Principal of Weidner Holdings. Phuc promised the best possible conditions for foreign investors and expressed his hope for stronger Vietnam-US cooperation in economics, trade, and investment.

Weidner said US senators support US enterprises operating in Vietnam. US businesses want to build a modern trade center in Ho Chi Minh city, Weidner said, and that new opportunities created by the TPP deal will make it an investment attraction gateway.
