Prime Minister receives outgoing Japanese ambassador

(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung received outgoing Japanese ambassador to Vietnam Tanizaki Yasuaki in Hanoi on Tuesday.

Prime Minister Dung praised the ambassador’s contributions to boosting multifaceted cooperation between the two countries and said that Vietnam hopes to further deepen its economic cooperation with Japan. He proposed that Japan increase ODA for Vietnam, adding that Vietnam is committed to effectively using and managing ODA sources for national development. The Vietnamese government leader called for continued cooperation in negotiations on the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement, education, training, defense, security, and agriculture.
