Project on HR development for the healthcare sector reviewed

(VOVworld) - A seminar to review the implementation of the project “human resource development program for the healthcare sector” over the past year and set out plans for this year took place in Hanoi on Monday. Delegates agreed that the project has achieved significant results in improving human resource management and planning, enhancing the quality of training activities and upgrading healthcare service management. Minister of Health Nguyen Thi Kim Tien says: "This is the first HR development project and we need to upgrade our infrastructure to improve the training quality. More effort is needed in the research work for the issuance of working licenses. The project also touches upon the payment methods in healthcare insurance which are being piloted. Hopefully we’ll have more projects on improving the quality of medical check-ups and treatment."
The project, funded by the Asian Development Bank and Australian Development Agency, will span from 2010 until 2012.
