(VOVworld) - Australia’s Elixir Trio staged a performance at the theatre of Radio the Voice of Vietnam in Hanoi on Thursday.

Australian Ambassador to Vietnam Hugh Borrowman said Elixir’s concert, along with a performance by the Bangarra Dance Theatre and a Questacon science exhibition, celebrates the 40th anniversary of Vietnam-Australia diplomatic relations. Borrowman said he hopes that Elixir’s folk and improvisational jazz style will bring Australian music closer to the Vietnam audience.
