Revision to decision on funding pandemic-affected people
(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai has approved amendments and supplements to the Prime Minister’s decision signed in July on support for employees and employers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The new decision revises conditions set for eligible recipients of aid, including contributions to pensions and death funds. Employers will be given assistance to open training courses for their workers. Employees will be allowed to pause their labor contracts or take leave without pay if they satisfy certain requirements.
Under the new decision, children, the elderly, and the disabled who undergo COVID-19 treatment or mandatory quarantine will be given 44 USD each.
