(VOVworld) -  Russia’s Investigations Committee (SKRF) has arrested the head of Russia’s Republic of Komi Vyacheslav Gaizer and his deputy Alexei Chernov on charges of organizing a criminal community and fraud. Committee spokesperson Vladimir Markin said the court upheld the investigator’s motion to place 15 suspects under arrest, many of them top ranking officials of Russia’s Republic of Komi. 19 people were charged with organizing a criminal community.
