Russia reacts to latest EU sanctions

(VOVWORLD) - The Kremlin denounced Monday latest EU sanctions against two Russians accused by Britain of poisoning former Russian agent Sergei Skripal and his daughter.

Russian government spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told a news conference that they have still not heard any evidence, thus the accusations are not proved.

EU foreign ministers Monday imposed sanctions on nine Russians and Syrians, as well as two heads of Russia's military intelligence agency (GRU). The EU said that GRU leaders have to take entity responsible for developing and making chemical weapons used in the attack in Salisbury last March.
