The ceasefire will be in effect from midnight on May 8 until midnight on May 11. According to the Kremlin's statement, during this period, all military actions will cease, and Russia believes that the Ukrainian side should follow this example.
The Kremlin noted that Russia "once again declares its readiness for peace talks without preconditions." Moscow stressed the importance of addressing the root causes of the conflict. The statement warned that Russian armed forces will respond appropriately if the ceasefire is violated.
