SPA cited an official foreign ministry source that Saudi Arabia will set up a general consulate in Arbil, capital of Iraq's Kurdistan region, following a bilateral agreement. A special team from Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Ministry will arrive in Baghdad next week to work with Iraq’s Foreign Ministry on choosing venues and preparing buildings for both missions so they can start work "at the earliest opportunity".
