(VOVworld) – On Tuesday South Korean President Park Geun Hye said the world community should develop strong sanctions against North Korea following its nuclear test on January 6.

She said that without strong, effective measures North Korea would believe there won’t be any consequences even after its 5th or 6th nuclear test. She asked South Korean officials to increase diplomatic efforts to make sure that the UN Security Council devises proper sanctions on North Korea. The President also called on the army to maintain its readiness for combat.
