(VOVworld) – Spanish police arrested 7 people suspected of having links with international terror groups Al Qaeda and IS. The anti-terror operation was carried out Sunday in the Spanish cities of Alicante and Valencia and in the Spanish autonomous city of Ceuta in North Africa.

The 7 people included 5 Spanish nationalities with Syrian, Jordanian, and Moroccan origin, 1 Syrian, and 1 Moroccan. They were believed to send guns and bombmaking materials disguised as humanitarian aid to terrorists in Syria and Iraq
