State President attends 50th anniversary of Vietnam History of Science Association
(VOVworld) – The Vietnam History of Science Association celebrated its 50th anniversary on Tuesday and received the Labor Order, 1st class.

At the ceremony, President Tran Dai Quang urged the Association to review Vietnam’s revolution to draw lessons for national construction and defense. He also called on the Association to collect and preserve intangible cultural values of ethnic groups to enrich Vietnam’s culture.
“The Association should popularize historical information and raise public awareness that history is important not only for researchers and historians, but for all people. The Association should work closely with the Ministry of Education and Training to improve the quality of teaching history to the younger generation”, President Quang said.
