The annual blood donation event was also a meeting point for compassionate hearts, spreading the message "Donate blood to save lives - Your life and mine" to the community.
“I think that young people, while still young and healthy, should donate blood. A single drop of blood donated can save a life, and that is incredibly precious. That's a huge motivation for me to come here. This event inspires the spirit of youth, the spirit of spreading love between communities and between people. When young people donate blood to save lives, they also demonstrate their love for their fellow citizens and help many people,” said Nguyen Quoc Thong, a student from Van Hien University, who has donated blood.
Over nearly two decades, the Red Sunday campaign has contributed to saving lives through blood donation and easing blood shortages in emergency and treatment situations.
