At traditional markets, the prices of vegetables increased slightly, while prices of fresh food items such as pork, beef, and seafood have remained stable. The supply is assured, thus there have been no sudden price hikes.
In typhoon-hit provinces and cities like Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Hanoi, Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, Lang Son, and Bac Kan, supermarkets are still open with abundance of goods. Traditional markets, supermarkets, and convenience stores are still open on Saturday afternoon. The supply of essential goods such as food, fuel, and other necessities is generally ensured.
