The project, financed by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), aims at making Vietnam’s tourism sector more sustainable and inclusive. It will be implemented from now until 2027 and will assist in the development and implementation of policies at the central and provincial levels for sustainable tourism development, and enhance the capacity of training institutions in Vietnam by providing high-quality training programs aimed at developing skills and expertise for personnel in the tourism and hospitality sectors. The project will also  support local destinations and tourism businesses in investing and operating sustainable tourism. The Swiss government pledged a non-refundable grant of 3.6 million CHF from ODA funding to implement the ST4SD project.
