(VOVworld)- The Thai military government has set up a committee for Reconciliation and Reform (CRR), as part of its roadmap leading to new elections, Banpot Phunpian, spokesman of the Internal Security Operations Command, said on Tuesday. The Committee will be responsible for soliciting opinions and suggestions from various agencies to formulate a national reconciliation and reform plan, toward a general election. The CRR is under the supervision of the Office of the Permanent Secretary for Defense and comprises representatives of relevant government agencies. Earlier, a Reconciliation Center for Reforms was established to supervise the reconciliation, under the CRR management. A working group for reform preparations directly under the CRR has also been set up. The working will compile reform proposals from political parties, scholars and the general public.
