(VOVWORLD) - The Thang Long - Hanoi Festival 2025 opened at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel on Friday, aiming to promote the value of Vietnam’s cultural heritage to international friends.

The festival reflects the capital city’s aspiration to build a distinctive and creative cultural brand rooted in national traditions. The opening program, structured into three parts “Heritage”, “Connecting Heritage”, and “The Era“ delivers a clear message of harmony between tradition and modern development.
Vu Thu Ha, Vice Chairwoman of the Hanoi People’s Committee, said that the first Thang Long-Hanoi Festival 2025 is a major cultural and arts event, celebrating heritage in an open, creative space, linking traditional culture with the digital age.
"Folk artisans, artists, and young creators come together to refresh and enrich Vietnam’s cultural identity in today’s world," she added.
