Ms. Phong said the Party and State have always provided conditions for ethnic people to study and promote themselves. She urged them to pursue higher education and contribute to socio-economic development in their home village.
Founded in 1999, the Vu A Dinh fund has so far granted over 70,000 scholarships to students from ethnic minorities nationwide. It also honors individuals and organizations who have made outstanding contributions to the development of Vietnam’s ethnic communities.
