(VOVworld) -  The Chairman of the joint Chiefs of Staff has released the US 2015 National Military Strategy, which provides the blueprint for how the military will use its forces to protect and advance US national and security interests.
General Martin Dempsey warned of minor but increasing possibility of war with other powers.
The Strategy states that Chinese construction of artificial islands in the East Sea is worrisome as it intensifies tension in the Asia Pacific.
The strategy also stresses that the US army needs to be ready to cope with extremists and terrorism organizations, especially the Islamic State (IS) in Iraq and Syria.
