ComRes conducted a poll involving 2,059 voters, of which 35% trust that Prime Minister David Cameron can do what is “best for Britain” while 34% back the Brexit campaign of London mayor Boris Johnson to leave the EU. According to independent polls carried out by the Sunday Mirror and the Independent on Sunday, Conservative voters are twice as likely – 54% to 27% – to say they trust David Cameron more than Boris Johnson to do what is best for Britain.
