Due to restrictions, the center will be operating on reduced hours, from  8h30 - 12h00 and 13h00 - 14h30, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, the British Embassy announced on its official Facebook page. This means there will be significantly fewer appointments available than usual, it said.

The standard processing time for UK visas is 15 working days.

Earlier the British visa application centers in Hanoi and HCM city were also allowed to resume limited operations. Last week the Hanoi center was allowed to open all five days a week after the capital eased its lockdown.

Da Nang recorded nearly 4,900 Covid cases in the ongoing wave, but has managed to bring the outbreak under control. The central city plans to fully reopen on October 1.
