(VOVWORLD) - The Syrian crisis is the main topic of a meeting between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson in Washington on Wednesday, according to Russia’s Foreign Ministry.
On Monday, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov met with Deputy Secretary of State Thomas Shannon to discuss possible dialogues on strategic stability.

Ryabkov said the US and Russia should settle issues pending from the Obama administration, particularly last year’s seizure of Russian diplomatic assets in the US and the expulsion of 35 Russian diplomats.
