(VOVworld) – In Wednesday’s statement, Venezuelan Foreign Minister Delcy Rodriguez accused the US of continuing to violate international law against Caracas and asked Washington to respect Venezuelan sovereignty.

Earlier Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro also denounced Washington for interfering in his country’s internal affairs after spokesperson for the Department of State John Kirby said the US was concerned about the Venezuelan government’s intervention into the newly elected National Assembly exercising its constitutionally mandated duties.
